Actor Seann William Scott might be best known for his appearances as the iconic Stifler character in the “American Pie” movie franchise. These days, he’s trying to sell his Venice, CA, compound that includes a modern main residence and a historic (but updated!) bungalow.

The designer property recently appeared on the market for $4,975,000.

Two homes

Together, the homes amount to 4,600 square feet of living space, with five bedrooms and six baths, all on a 5,148-square-foot lot. Designed by Los Angeles-based architect Kevin Mulcahy and built in 2004, the buildings were inspired by light, the environment, and a minimalist palette. Natural materials evoke nearby mountains, forests, and sandy beaches.

The property is near the ocean and the chic shops and restaurants of the Abbot Kinney district.

The single-story bungalow measures 1,300 square feet and has two bedrooms. It features a streamlined galley kitchen with Caesarstone counters and Miele appliances.

It also has an attractive, built-in banquette in the living room, a front deck, and charming outdoor seating areas.

The compound also includes a three-car garage; two ipe wood decks; several outdoor seating areas; and drought-resistant, carefully curated landscaping that abounds with leafy hedges and mature trees.

In addition to the “American Pie” franchise, Scott starred in films including “Dude, Where’s My Car?,” “The Dukes of Hazard,” and “Mr. Woodcock.” He also voiced Crash in four “Ice Age” animated films. On television, he starred on the Fox crime-drama television series, “Lethal Weapon.” Scott is 47.

The listing is held by Graham Larson, of Sotheby’s International Realty – Pacific Palisades Brokerage; and Sam Plouchart, of Sotheby’s International Realty – Beverly Hills Brokerage.
