A five-level mountain retreat in Ellijay, GA, is all about the views.

“The long-range views are incredible year round,” says listing agent Regina Payne, with Re/Max Town and Country.

The vertical build on 1.5 acres was just completed this month and is listed for $1,475,000.

“It was built as a spec house,” Payne explains, adding that the builder, Timberwood Construction, has had two other mountain cabins on the same road. “This builder specializes in finding pieces of property that have some really cool features—something that is very desirable in this area.”

It catches everyone’s attention.”

The neighborhood is a mix of primary residences and vacation rentals, about 10 miles from downtown Ellijay.

Visitors should be prepared for an off-road, rustic experience.

“The roads are dirt roads and are a little bit more difficult to get through,” Payne notes. “But it kind of adds to the character. You really feel like you’re in the mountains.”
