In a case that captured nationwide attention, therapist Jodi Hildebrandt was arrested and pled guilty to four counts of child abuse in late December 2023. She and her business partner—YouTuber and parenting influencer Ruby Franke—presented themselves as aspirational role models who offered sage advice for moms.

The pair doled out guidance from the Ivins, UT, home that one of Franke’s abused children escaped—and where the supposed parenting gurus reportedly committed a number of horrific acts.

Now, while Hildebrandt awaits her sentencing in February, that four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home she owns is on the market for $5.3 million. Here’s a look at where the discredited mental health professional once called home.

Brutalist in style and somewhat foreboding to the eye, this high-desert home has more than 9,000 square feet and is a solid fortress. There’s a mahogany door at the entrance and skylights within, alongside 15-foot ceilings, a fireplace, and landscape views from the main floor.

The kitchen features double ovens, lots of counter space and appliances from such name brands as Wolf, Bosch, and Sub-Zero. Other kitchen amenities include a stainless steel, farmhouse sink and a butler’s pantry with a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and more counter space.

The primary bedroom also has a fireplace, the same enviable views, and a walk-in closet with a washer/dryer. The main bath sports a sculptural soaking tub and a steam room. Entertainment perks on the lower level include another full-sized kitchen, a home theater, and family room.

Outside, there’s a pool, spa, fire pit, and yet another kitchen for grilling and dining al fresco. There’s also a large, open-air TV, as well as a pet wash and room for five cars.

The abused children in this case included Franke’s own son and daughter, who were, according to reports, found to be dangerously underfed and injured inside Hildebrandt’s house.

Both women pled guilty to four counts of aggravated child abuse and could face up to 15 years in prison, possibly consecutively for each crime.
