Built in 1937, this Colonial Revival home is about 3,400 square feet. A brick stairway and entry ascend to the front door, which leads to a living room with a marble fireplace.

The kitchen features gorgeous, slate-blue cabinets; a large island; walk-in pantry; and lots of room to store wine.

The main bedroom has its own office area and shelves, while another sleep space boasts a fireplace. One loo is outfitted with a lovely, deep soaking tub and clerestory windows.

Set on just over an acre, the estate offers a loggia for entertaining by a stone fireplace, plus a swinging sofa for lounging. Meanwhile, a cabana on the roof has views of the pool and the grounds, which include fruit trees, walking paths, and a bocce court.

Per reports, Taylor Anne Crichton, daughter of “Jurassic Park” author Michael Crichton, is the seller.

While Newman and Woodward didn’t live in the house for very long, their history there lends the place a certain cachet.

Newman, who was known for his piercing blue eyes and long Hollywood career, died in 2008. His many films include “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” “Cool Hand Luke,” “The Sting,” and “The Hustler.”

Newman was nominated multiple times for an Academy Award and won in 1986 for “The Color of Money.” He also loved to race cars and was a nonprofit entrepreneur in his later years as a co-founder of Newman’s Own, which gave its after-tax profits to charity.

Woodward, 93, won an Academy Award in 1957 for her star turn in “The Three Faces of Eve.” She lives in Westport, CT.
