The offseason arrived early for the Los Angeles Dodgers, so their superstar is ready to take another swing off the field.

All-Star outfielder Mookie Betts has put his Encino, CA, home back on the market for $8,495,000.

Prior to baseball’s Opening Day, Betts listed the chic mansion for just under $10 million in February. No buyer stepped up to the plate in the spring, and the house vanished from the market in May.

Perhaps the 15% price cut will allow Betts to finally move the nine-bedroom mansion out of his lineup.

With a little more than 9,400 square feet, this gorgeous L.A.-area residence offers the best of everything. A jaw-dropping foyer features a curvy grand staircase and a lofty ceiling, and the living spaces are all oversized and open onto a pretty backyard.

The property also includes a two-bedroom guesthouse.

A long island fills the chef’s kitchen, which includes luxe appliances and a walk-in pantry. The main bedroom has a mini living room and fireplace, two closets, two bathrooms, and space for a nursery or home office nearby. Four other bedrooms are situated upstairs, and there are two more on the first floor for a housekeeper. Laundry hookups are conveniently available on two different levels.

Need some entertainment? The home comes with its own plush-seated theater and a sauna, too. Outside, there’s an infinity-edge pool and spa, a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen, a cabana, putting green, and separate building that houses a gym, basketball court, and bathroom.

The property is privately gated and has two parking garages for four vehicles.

Betts starred six seasons for the Boston Red Sox before joining the Dodgers in 2020—the year the club won the World Series. He’s also known for the megawatt contract he secured when he was traded to L.A.—an astonishing 12-year deal worth $365 million.
