The Most Expensive Home in Nevada

If you think the priciest home in the Silver State is an outrageously glitzy, celeb-owned palace with easy access to the Las Vegas strip—guess again.

In fact, the most expensive listing in Nevada isn’t anywhere near Vegas. It’s located at the other end of the state, on the shores of Lake Tahoe in the town of Incline Village, NV, and it made news when it recently landed on the market for $76 million. That sky-high price launched it onto the most expensive homes list on Realtor.com®.

Known as the The Old Forge – Wynn Estate, it does have a Las Vegas connection: It was originally purchased in 1993 by casino mogul Steve Wynn for $8,125,000. He developed the massive estate, then sold it five years later for $17 million.

It’s most certainly a one-of-a-kind legacy property, located on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. Surrounded by towering pines, it sits on 210 feet of private, sandy beach and includes a deep-water pier for the freshwater yacht, a boat hoist, and a personal watercraft platform.
