He “threw hundreds” to buy it, but now he wants to let it go.

Award-winning rap star Tyga recently put his Indio, CA, vacation pad on the market for $5.5 million.

The performer bought the four-bedroom, 5.5-bath mansion in 2020 for $3.9 million, the Los Angeles Times reported at the time.

The house first hit the market in June for $5.9 million. In July, the price was sliced to its current ask. Even with the discount, the home’s eventual sale still stands to net Tyga a tidy profit.

Lakefront living

The 5,700-square-foot, lakefront estate sits on nearly an acre—with a private beach and boat dock right in the backyard. Curated gardens and manicured lawns surround the property.

Water-sports enthusiasts will appreciate the home’s easy access to paddle boarding, water-skiing runs, fishing, and sailing. There’s also a luxurious pool, spa, and mini waterfall.

Resort feel

The home has a bright and airy layout, with a large kitchen and a dining area that flow seamlessly into a spacious living room. Striking chandeliers, modern fireplaces, arched doorways, and beamed ceilings create a distinct vibe.

Pocket doors line one of the living room walls and open to a large outdoor lounge with breathtaking water views.

And those who don’t care to choose their own furniture and decor can happily bypass that chore—the house comes fully furnished.

Tyga, 33, released his debut album, “No Introduction,”  in 2008. He has since collaborated with Lil Wayne, Drake, and Doja Cat, among others.
