Two-time Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes recently listed one of his Kansas City, MO, homes for $2.9 million.

The superstar quarterback signed a 10-year, $450 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020. Thanks to those riches and his endorsement deals, Mahomes has built a mini real estate empire, which includes a few properties in Missouri and a mansion in Texas.

Mahomes picked up this Kansas City home in November 2018 for $2 million. Modest by superstar standards, this customized three-bedroom home is attractive with solid bones.

It’s the first home the QB and wife Brittany Mahomes bought on their own. And Brittany made sure there was enough space in the closet for Patrick’s massive sneaker collection. You can see a video tour of the home (and the showroom closet) as it looked in August 2019.

Nestled in the popular Sunset Hill neighborhood, the 4,800-square-foot home features custom cabinets, wood and tile floors, and a traditional design that should appeal to many potential buyers. The gated property features lush lawns and a newly expanded five-car garage.

Inside, there’s a living room with a fireplace, a home office, and a beautiful sunroom with floor-to-ceiling windows. The primary suite is enormous, at 1,250 square feet, and the adjoining bathroom includes a glassed-in shower and a soaking tub.

Just six seasons into his NFL career, the 27-year-old Mahomes has led the Chiefs to the Super Bowl three times, winning two rings. He’s now set to move to an even larger mansion being built in Kansas City’s Loch Lloyd neighborhood.
