The famous singer with the incredible five-octave range is poised to sell her massive Atlanta home, albeit at a loss.

Mariah Carey has bagged multiple Grammys and a slew of American Music Awards, but it appears the diva won’t come out a winner in the sale of her nine-bedroom mansion.

Listed in late May for $4,995,000, the 12,575-square-foot dwelling is now pending sale. Carey had purchased it in November 2021 for $5.65 million. Unless there was an unprecedented bidding war for the estate, she’s set to take a sizable loss.

Here’s a look at the estate on 4 acres she’s leaving behind.

Perched atop a private hill, this gorgeous home was designed by Stephen Fuller and exudes traditional Southern charm at every turn. The property also includes a pool house, large lawns, and a tennis court.

The main residence features exquisite details, including millwork, crown molding, coffered ceilings, and curved doorways.

French doors open from the main living area to the outdoor space, where you’ll find a huge terrace, heated pool, entertaining pavilion, and lovely gardens. The kitchen features a marble island, custom cabinets, a breakfast nook, and top-of-the-line appliances.

Few singers can match the accolades Carey has garnered over the years. She’s achieved 19 No. 1 hits (the most of any artist) and been named Billboard’s Top Female Artist of All Time.
