Marillyn Hewson, the one-time Lockheed CEO, seems to be shedding some of her real estate.

After selling her McLean, VA, mansion just last year for $5.55 million, she has now listed her four-bedroom, 5.5-bath, Southwest Florida penthouse for $11.8 million.

She and husband James Hewson purchased the home in 2017 for $5.2 million. The couple first placed the warm-weather retreat on the market almost a year ago for $14 million and later dropped the price.

A full-price sale would hand the Hewsons a sizable return.

The 6,600-square-foot perch has every possible amenity for leisure-lovers with deep pockets. And it’s tastefully decorated and fully furnished, too—just waiting for the right buyer to show up with nothing more than a suitcase.

The Florida-based design team from Beasley & Henley put their stamp on the decor, which includes porcelain, marble, and inlaid wood detailing. Plus, there’s plenty of floor-to-ceiling glass to welcome in that famous local sunshine.

Double islands and top-quality, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances round out the luxurious kitchen, adjacent to a convenient butler’s pantry and wine room for breezy entertaining.

Amazing bay and gulf views fill the main living space and dining area, while the family room offers lots of lounge space and room for a pool table.

The main bedroom features dual bathrooms—no sharing required! But the balcony, with its grill and dining space, might be the room’s most inviting perk.

And befitting a resortlike home, a pool, spa, fitness center, and a tennis and pickleball court are all part of the package. Need more? You can also take a water taxi to a private beach.

Hewson’s work for the defense contractor began in 1983, when she joined the company as an industrial engineer. In her post-Lockheed career, she has served on various corporate boards, including Johnson & Johnson and Chevron.
