“Little People, Big World” star Matt Roloff is headed for a big sale of his family home in Hillsboro, OR.

The reality TV personality announced on Instagram that he decided to sell a large portion of the farm, which has served as a consistent backdrop for the long-running series.

“Today 16 acres of the farm’s 109 acres go up for sale including our original family home and bright red barn,” Roloff posted on Instagram. “It’s a tiny bit scary but mostly exciting … it’s time to move toward the next season of life.”

He added, “All of @rolofffarms has brought me and our family great joy for the past 30+ years!”

The listing comes after his ex-wife, Amy Roloff, sold her portion of the property in 2019 for $667,000, according to the New York Post.

The spread includes the main house, a nine-car garage, and an array of whimsical installations, including a pirate ship, a Western town, a German-style medieval castle, and a “Bridge to Nowhere,” which is actually a covered picnic area.

It appears that Roloff isn’t letting go of farm life just yet.

“I am downsizing in acres to expand my adventures,” he said in a statement on his website. “While doing a bit of consolidation and simplifying, I’m still planning on new adventures and an exciting 2022 pumpkin season on the remaining acres.”

Other points of interest on the property include a pool, a farm stand and gift shop, and a network of trails and bridges.

The famed farm definitely caught the attention of the web. Last week, it was the most viewed listing on Realtor.com®.

Will all the interest in the home translate into a buyer? Certainly, the property offers many options. As the listing notes, the “world-famous Roloff Farm nestled in the hills of Helvetia offers limitless potential for tranquility, freedom, and lifestyle.”

“Little People, Big World” debuted in 2006 and has aired 370-plus episodes over 23 seasons. It follows the antics of the Roloff family on their farm.
