Former Washington Nationals star Ryan Zimmerman is listing his home base in Great Falls, VA, for $8.5 million.

The Virginia native and his wife, Heather, purchased the 5-acre property in 2012 for $3.9 million.  They added their own personal touches, including a man cave complete with a gym, wine cellar, and home theater. They also spruced up the landscaping and exterior space.

The couple reportedly lived in the family home year-round. Just 15 minutes from Washington, DC, the oasis offered “a little vacation at home,” Heather told Home & Design in 2016.

Out back there’s an English garden and mature trees, as well as a wee home the kids can call their own. The two-story playhouse was featured on TLC’s “Charmed Playhouses,” according to the listing. A three-car garage and limestone parking pad complete the property.
