Former NFL linebacker Clay Matthews has hoisted his Calabasas, CA, mansion back onto the market for $27,995,000.

Matthews and his wife, “Design on a Dime” host Casey Noble Matthews, picked up the land in 2013 for $2.6 million, then built their mansion in 2020. They listed the property for $29,995,000 in July 2021 and early 2022. It came back on the market this week at a discounted price.

Clay Matthews was released by the Los Angeles Rams in 2020 after a single season. Now that they’re no longer tied to Southern California, he and his wife have relocated to Nashville to be closer to family, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Their Calabasas mansion is located in the Estates at the Oaks, an enclave favored by celebrities and members of the Kardashian family.

The 14,021-square-foot home has seven bedrooms and 11 baths. Designed in the French provincial style, it features antique wood beams, detailed millwork, and wide-plank walnut flooring.

Matthews, 35 and a native Californian, starred as a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers from 2009 to 2018. He hasn’t played since the Rams released him after the 2019 season. The Super Bowl champion is a six-time Pro Bowler.
