The home of the late “Mythbusters” host Grant Imahara has hit the market. The sleek Los Angeles pad is available for $1,999,000.

The property had last sold in 2019 for $1,695,000, according to Realtor.com®. Imahara died suddenly in 2020, as a result of a brain aneurysm. He was 49.

Beloved by fans of the popular show, the roboticist left behind a singular home.

Built in 1979, the abode in the Hollywood Hills appears to jut out of the hillside, providing views all the way to downtown L.A. from all three levels of the structure.

Marketed as a residence with a “celebrity pedigree,” the home is said to have been fully remodeled. With three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and 2,981 square feet, its extra-high ceilings add an airy, open feel.

Light and bright, the living area features walls of glass, a fireplace, and access to a deck with expansive views.

The layout serves up a gourmet kitchen with Thermador appliances, Caesarstone counters, and custom cabinetry. A breakfast bar adjoins the dining area.

The master bedroom features a walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with a pedestal tub. Sliding doors open to a private balcony.

The second bedroom comes with a connected bathroom. Separate from other parts of the home, the third bedroom can work as a gym or home office. The two-car garage includes a Tesla charger.

The location of the home is close to major studios, shops, restaurants, and Runyon Canyon Park.

Best known for his work on “Mythbusters,” Imahara, a trained electrical engineer, built robots to test myths on the popular science show.

A native of Los Angeles, he had worked for Lucasfilm and ILM, creating special effects for such movies as “Jurassic Park: The Lost World.” Prior to his death, Imahara reunited with his “Mythbusters” build team for the Netflix show “White Rabbit Project.”

Craig Parry with Rodeo Realty holds the listing.
