‘Marrying Millions’ Star Bill Hutchinson Selling Carmel, CA, Home Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

Amid allegations of sexual assault, Bill Hutchinson, star of the reality TV show “Marrying Millions,” is selling his vacation home in Carmel, CA. The ocean-view getaway is available for $9.5 million.

Property records show the home listed under his name, with a mailing address linked to his business.

The real estate developer from the Dallas area is the founder of the Dallas-based real estate firm Dunhill Partners. Fans of Lifetime’s “Marrying Millions” will recognize him as the 63-year-old man who proudly showcased his relationship with a woman 40 years his junior.

Hutchinson purchased the Spanish Revival residence in 2005 for $2.21 million. Built in 1920, the four-bedroom, 4,730-square-foot home has a prestigious history. It was conceived by the artist John O’Shea as one of the first homes in the new subdivision known as Carmel Highlands.

The coastal escape has since been completely renovated, perhaps explaining in part the massive price increase from the last time it came on the market. It’s described as “flawlessly crafted to entertain friends and family or escape to your own private paradise by the sea.”

Updates include floors with radiant heat and a gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances such as a La Cornue range, as well as granite countertops and an island. The eat-in kitchen also includes a breakfast nook. A dining room with a candelabra provides a gathering space for more formal occasions.

A luxurious, ocean-view master suite includes a Turkish bath and spa with a large Jacuzzi, steam room, and waterfall shower, as well as a walk-in dry sauna.

Other details include a family room, multiple fireplaces, and vaulted and beamed ceilings.

Set on 3.1 hillside acres, the property has multiple seating areas to extend the indoor-outdoor living space, with limestone steps running from the top of the hill past fountains, a built-in barbecue, a fire pit, basketball court, and down to a gated entrance.

Hutchinson was arrested last week amid accusations that he sexually assaulted a teenage girl in his Dallas-area home, according to the Dallas Morning News. He has denied the charges.

Immediately after his arrest in Texas, he faced similar allegations of assault in California, where he owns a home in Laguna Beach, accusations that Hutchinson also refutes. According to TMZ, there’s an arrest warrant out for him in Orange County, CA.

Hutchinson’s development company partnered with the billionaire Richard Branson to develop Virgin Hotels Dallas, and the company manages millions of square feet of retail space across the country.

Tim Allen Properties with Coldwell Banker Residential holds the listing.
