The longtime producer of “The Howard Stern Show,” Gary Dell’Abate, is looking to sink his teeth into a sale of his Old Greenwich, CT, home. The custom-built abode is now on the market for $3,195,000.

Designed for its owner, who is known worldwide as Baba Booey, the Connecticut Colonial is located about an hour from the Sirius XM studios.

With 7,683 square feet, the space features “refined elegance throughout, with hardwood floors, soaring ceilings and exquisite millwork,” according to the listing. For a guy who spends his days getting ribbed on the radio by everyone, he’s built himself quite a serene retreat.

The home and its famous owner received local press attention with the release of his autobiography over a decade ago. Taking a peek into his home in the listing photos offers a window into the man’s creature comforts, from his man cave to his office, where he prepped for the show at the height of the pandemic.

The executive producer also seems to have headed to the basement while keeping the Stern show running remotely. A photo posted on Instagram from April 2020 shows the producer with headphones and a laptop, captioned, “Live from the man cave at 1 PM with the wrap-up show.”

The residence also has plenty of room for other pursuits. Along with five bedrooms, four full bathrooms, plus three half-bathrooms, the layout includes formal living and dining rooms, and a gourmet eat-in kitchen with a large marble island and seating.

Family rooms can be found on two floors. The walk-out lower level is tricked out with a game room that includes a jukebox, pool table, lounge area, as well as the bar. It’s a perfect spot to curl up with your favorite piece of vinyl and enjoy a glass of Scotch.

A man cave is currently covered in Dell’Abate’s beloved New York Mets memorabilia—although we couldn’t tell if there was a framed photo of him throwing out an infamous first pitch at a Mets game in 2009. The creation of the cave was documented on the show “Man Caves,” a few years ago.

Besides the cave, other amenities include a home theater, study, and a gym.

The owner’s suite offers a fireplace, sitting area, and spa bath, plus a walk-in closet. All other bedrooms include en suite bathrooms, with room for staff quarters, an au pair, or guests.

A lush backyard boasts grassy lawn, a flagstone patio, outdoor sitting and dining areas, and room for a pool.

The property also comes with a three-car garage with an electric-vehicle charger. The location is close to shopping, country clubs, and top-rated schools, the listing notes. Angela Swift with Compass holds the listing.

Baba Booey isn’t the only employee of the “Stern Show” who has recently been looking to trade real estate. Ronnie “The Limo Driver” Mund put his Queens home on the market in April for $916,000. It’s currently pending sale, as Mund heads to Vegas.

Dell’Abate has been a producer of “The Howard Stern Show” since 1984. His best-selling autobiography, “They Call Me Baba Booey” was published in 2010.
