SR Homes has named Chris DeVotie as its new vice president of construction to lead the SR Construction & Warranty Department, according to a press release from the company.

DeVotie has spent 35 years in the industry, working for builders and developers such as DeVotie Construction, Paul Davis Systems, McBride & Son, Traton Homes and Monte Hewett Homes. 

The company has new active home communities in Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett and Oconee counties.

“DeVotie offers unique experience in formulating strategic plans, providing vision, enabling solid connections to building processes and implementing programs to meet short-, mid- and long-term objectives,” the press release noted. “He possesses comprehensive knowledge of the Georgia Building Code, National Electrical Code, OSHA guidelines and scopes of residential and commercial construction.”
