The NFL trade deadline has come and gone, and the New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore didn’t go anywhere. However, the defensive star still hopes to tackle a buyer for his Foxboro, MA, residence. Gilmore and his wife, Gabrielle, have listed the home for $999,000.

The home was last on the market in 2017, when it was purchased for $925,000 by the Gabrielle Gilmore trust.

The timing of the listing fueled rumors that the Patriots were fielding inquiries from other teams about a trade involving last year’s AP Defensive Player of the Year. Even though Gilmore wasn’t dealt now, it’s obvious he doesn’t plan to stick around in Massachusetts for the long term.

Meanwhile, a new owner can snag the keys for the “Gem of Norfolk County,” as the listing calls it.

The home was built in 2013, and the 5,118-square-foot layout offers four bedrooms and five bathrooms, on over a half-acre.

Inside the contemporary abode, find a spacious floor plan for entertaining or lounging with family, including a living room, sitting room, family room, and a formal dining room.

The eat-in kitchen features stainless-steel appliances, a chef’s preference gas stove, custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and an island with bar seating. The open space adjoins the living area.

Upstairs, the layout includes the four sizable bedrooms and three bathrooms, along with the master suite, with three walk-in closets and an en suite master bath.

On the lower level, the residence offers a finished basement with a bonus room, rec room, full bathroom, and ample storage space. The property comes with an attached three-car garage and a circular drive.

For a player with the Patriots, the locale can’t be beat. Gillette Stadium, where the Patriots play their home games, is just a few miles down the road.

Gilmore, 30, started his NFL career with the Buffalo Bills in 2012. In 2017, the All-Pro signed with the Patriots, and helped the team win the Super Bowl. He was sidelined earlier this year when he tested positive for COVID-19, and just recently due to a knee injury.

The Sarkis Team with Douglas Elliman holds the listing.
