TV legend Bob Barker’s historic Hollywood Hills estate, where he lived for over 50 years, has sold after a whirlwind month on the market.

The home of the game-show host, who died in 2023, landed on the market in March and was quickly snapped up. The six-bedroom, six-bathroom house was recently purchased for $3,788,000—an impressive $800,000 over the asking price.

The 5,906-square-foot Spanish Colonial Revival-style abode was built in 1929.

It’s one of the most famous properties in the Outpost Estates neighborhood. The current residence is at the site of the Original Outpost, which was said to be the first home built in that area of the Hollywood Hills and has since been torn down.

The address is also where Harrison Grey Otis, who founded the Los Angeles Times, lived from 1880-1917.

Barker isn’t the only Hollywood star who made the picturesque California neighborhood home. Other celebs, like Ben Affleck and Winona Ryder, have ties to the area.
