NFL brothers Travis and Jason Kelce were famous in the sports world. But they’ve recently risen to meteoric levels of fame.

To get you up to speed, Travis is one of the Kansas City Chiefs‘ best players, winning the Super Bowl with them in 2019, 2023, and 2024. He’s also dating Taylor Swift, arguably the world’s most famous woman.

No slouch himself, Jason is a star center for the Philadelphia Eagles, with whom he won the Super Bowl in 2017.

Besides being pretty freaking good at football, the brothers are also keen on real estate and have portfolios to prove it: Jason owns property in places such as Cleveland, the Jersey Shore, and outside of Philadelphia, and Travis recently dropped $6 million on a lavish estate near Kansas City.

These property brothers show no signs of stopping (well, Jason might retire soon, more on that later)—with their hefty paychecks and brand partnerships—so where should they buy next? And, more importantly, how do athletes decide where and what to buy?

How athletes choose properties

Professional athletes consider many factors when choosing the location of a home to purchase, says Greg Forest, senior global real estate adviser for Sotheby’s International Realty.

“These may include proximity to their team’s stadium or training facilities, proximity to an airport, the quality of local schools if they have children, access to amenities like parks or recreational facilities, and the overall safety and desirability of the neighborhood,” Forest explains.

Athletes are typically drawn to homes that create a relaxing environment while reducing the need to leave, he says. As for amenities, that usually depends on personal preferences.

“Some common amenities they may prioritize include a fitness room or gym, a large backyard or outdoor space for relaxation or entertainment, and high-end kitchen appliances and finishes,” says Forrest.

Additional features, like a pool or home theater, are also popular. Forest adds that it’s common for an athlete to hone their craft at home. As a result, some athletes will install batting cages or basketball courts.

Keeping these ideas in mind, we rounded up some head-turning property suggestions for the Kelce brothers. From picturesque Pennsylvania estates to character-filled New York City penthouses, here’s where we’re speculating they might buy next.

Southampton stunner

Realtor.com - 344 Great Plains Road 2
There’s a pool out back, perfect for days when you don’t feel like going to the beach.

Sotheby’s International Realty

No real estate portfolio is complete without an upscale retreat in the Hamptons. The perfect combination of elegance and convenience, this five-bedroom, $15 million Southampton estate, suggested by Forest, is the ideal summer home for a wealthy athlete.

If Travis is looking for an East Coast escape close to major cities, this is the one—it’s less than a two-hour drive from New York City and just over a three-hour drive to Philly, close to his brother. Plus, it includes a pool house, sunroom, and parking court.

Fantastic Kansas City farm

Realtor.com - 14400 Prospect Ave 1
This pick has a stone facade and lush gardens.

Realtor.com

Travis recently bought a gorgeous Leawood, KS, home outside of Kansas City. However, if he wants to kick things up a notch, he should scoop up this sprawling 306-acre farm for $12.3 million. (It’s also Kansas City’s most expensive listing.)

Built in 1933, this picture-perfect property includes a billiards room, crafts room, boat dock, metal shop, and sand beach for swimming. It’s a 20-minute drive from Arrowhead Stadium for game days, and it could make for a great retirement retreat.

Sumptuous Scottsdale estate

Realtor.com - 8441 E. Gary Road Scottsdale 1
Enjoy beautiful desert sunsets from this beautiful home.

Sotheby’s International Realty

If Travis wants to expand his real estate empire out West, Scottsdale is a great place to start.

The desert city is popular with pro athletes and is known for its top-tier golf courses, another sport that he has been photographed enjoying.

This newly built Arizona abode is priced at just under $8 million and features a 1,200-square-foot guesthouse, a 960-bottle wine cellar, and a sport court out back. The best part? There are no homeowners association fees.

Picturesque Pennsylvania pad

Realtor.com - 1 Blakely Road Haverford PA 1
You can expect terraces, gated grounds, and a media room in this mansion.

Sotheby’s International Realty

In recent years, Jason has been snatching up addresses in Haverford, PA, to build a megamansion. However, if he opted for a ready-made mansion, adding this $4.9 million fairy-tale estate to his property collection makes sense. This circa-1930s home is nestled in one of the area’s most sought-after neighborhoods, Merion Golf, and can accommodate Jason’s growing family.

Standout details include an extra-large family room with a high ceiling, a gym, five bedroom suites, and easy access to some of the area’s best schools. It’s also a 30-minute drive to Lincoln Financial Field, a plus if Jason opts to continue playing.

Jersey Shore gem

Realtor.com - 4318 Fifth Ave Avalon NJ 1
This bayfront home is in one of the Jersey Shore’s most coveted neighborhoods.

Realtor.com

Sure, Jason already owns a Jersey Shore beach house, but if he’s ready to upgrade his digs—or wants to invest in more waterfront property—this $12 million residence is a fantastic choice.

Located in Avalon, this gorgeous home has white cedar shingles and flower window boxes, which make this property even more adorable.

Bonus: It’s teeming with amenities and is the perfect place for hosting family and friends. There are two bunkbed rooms with en suite bathrooms on the first floor, two floating docks, a home theater with a projection screen, and a four-stop elevator.

That’s not all, though. A gym with a built-in filtered water dispenser is also perfect for getting your workout in during off days.

Handsome Hamptons home

Realtor.com - 46 Hildreth Ln 1
Sleek and modern, this pick boasts over 9,000 square feet of living space.

Sotheby’s International Realty

Jason might be more of a Jersey Shore kind of guy, but if Travis decides to invest in the Hamptons, his brother might choose a nearby house of his own. This $16 million contemporary mansion, suggested by Forest, is a cut above the rest with its massive chef’s kitchen, library, bar, infinity saltwater pool, and 5,000-bottle wine cellar.

Even cooler? According to the listing, JAY Z and Beyoncé have spent some time at this address. Now you know it’s at least worth a look.

Palm Beach paradise

Realtor.com - 10 Via Vizcaya 1
This address has a boat dock, wine cellar, and outdoor kitchen—what else could you need?

Sotheby’s International Realty

Could the Kelce brothers pool their money and create a family getaway in the Sunshine State, perhaps? This Palm Peach pad might be a little pricey at $45 million, but if the brothers are looking for a Florida property to share during the off-season, this one is undeniably the winner.

This Mediterranean mansion suggested by Forest features a built-in grill, covered patio, luxurious bedroom suites, and a heated pool. It’s located on a gated waterfront lot but is just a 10-minute drive from restaurants and attractions and a 15-minute drive from the airport.

Glamorous Manhattan penthouse

Realtor.com - 40 E 88th St PH 14E 1
This Carnegie Hill apartment is filled with personality.

Sotheby’s International Realty

Swift spends a lot of time in New York City, so it might make sense for Travis to put down roots in the Big Apple as well. And what better way than purchasing a glamorous $5.5 million Carnegie Hill penthouse steps from Central Park?

Located in an art deco building, this three-bedroom apartment is teeming with personality. For starters, it has oak parquet flooring in a herringbone pattern, leaded glass windows, and stunning period tilework.

It also doesn’t skimp on storage—this address has 15 closets, ideal for storing all of Travis’ eye-catching outfits. And no, this co-op’s address is nowhere near Cornelia Street.
