Legendary singing sensation Cher, known for hits like “If I Could Turn Back Time” and “Believe,” has dropped the price of her Malibu mansion.
The superstar previously put the seven-bedroom, nine-bath property on the market in 2022 for $85 million, before trimming the ask to $75 million recently. She purchased the cliffside parcel for $2.95 million more than 30 years ago.
Built in 1999, this meticulously designed, 13,000-square-foot abode is set on 1.7 acres. It’s a short drive from the ocean and popular neighborhood beaches and restaurants.
Coastal living
This Mediterranean-style property combines the luxe look of European architecture with the easy-breezy feel of California living.
The Italian palazzo’s gated, arched entrance leads into its private courtyard. Inside the home, stately living rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and diamond-coffered ceilings await.
In the gourmet kitchen, an oversized center island, arched stove alcove, and multiple sinks make food prep a cinch. There’s also a nearby dining room with wooden accents and outdoor access.
Legendary details
There are seven oversized bedrooms, each featuring a private outdoor space and bathroom. Even cooler? The jaw-dropping primary suite has a meditation room and spa-inspired bathroom.
Additionally, the home boasts a tennis court, an infinity-edge pool, and a front-entrance gatehouse.
Custom hardware and tiles from Spain and Morocco, limestone and marble from Italy and France, and hand-wrought bronze doors are also found throughout.
Cher, 77, burst onto the scene when she began performing with Sonny Bono in the 1960s. Together, the two released hit songs, including “I Got You Babe,” among others. In the 1970s, Cher decided to go solo and eventually ventured into film, a move that earned her an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for her role in “Moonstruck.”
