OpenDoor sells Peachtree City home live during Super Bowl ad

One Peachtree City family won big during Sunday’s Super Bowl.

In a live, local ad during the Big Game, Opendoor showed a family receive an all-cash offer for their Peachtree home after using the ecommerce brokerage’s Virtual Assessment app. The online showcasing took place during the game, as detailed in this video. In that segment, the Opendoor hosts refer to “Hotlanta” as “one of the toughest markets to sell a home in.” But, time it took for Usher to complete his halftime performance — 13 minutes — the house was sold for an undisclosed amount.

The sellers then celebrated live, alongside an enthusiastic marching band, during a 30-second commercial which aired on CBS Atlanta and Opendoor.com.

“Like Opendoor, our approach to the Big Game will be anything but traditional as we aim to redefine not only how we advertise, but also how homeowners envision and navigate the process of selling their homes,” Opendoor Chief Marketing Officer David Corns said in a release.
