Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow plans to stick around in Southern Ohio for a while. He recently purchased a 7,300-square-foot, four-bedroom home in Cincinnati for $7.5 million.

The swaggy signal caller tore a ligament in his wrist last November, putting an early end to his season. But prior to the injury, Burrow signed on the dotted line for this 3-acre opportunity on the city’s eastern edge, per reports in the NY Post.

And Burrow already has a pal living nearby—Bengals running back Joe Mixon is his neighbor.

While there aren’t any photos of Burrow’s new residence on this land or the rooms inside, there are some pics of lovely exteriors on this pretty parcel. They show a spot that offers plenty of space for new buildings on the land and other improvements.

According to the listing, the home on this parcel features 12 rooms in all, is made from stucco, and was built in 2016. The Post noted that Burrow hopes to erect a pool house on the land—in part, to ensure privacy.

On this former horse ranch, Burrow can enjoy the pretty views of the nearby Ohio River, surrounded by verdant fields; stands of trees; and a white, wooden fence. And there’s even a pond for a quick dip or skipping stones.

Burrow’s purchase probably wasn’t a big stretch, as the QB recently signed a five-year contract extension with the Bengals. The agreement is worth $275 million—the most ever for an NFL player. When we looked at the homes of the Bengals stars in 2022, Burrow’s starter home was a two-story dwelling he snagged in 2020 for $835,000.

Burrow honed his football chops at both Ohio State and Louisiana State University. He won the Heisman Trophy in 2020. Unfortunately, Cincinnati is out of the playoffs and done for the year after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs.
