Former Boston Celtics guard Malcolm Brogdon slam-dunked a sale on his Wellesley, MA, estate before it ever even hit the market.

The 31-year-old Georgia native was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in October and sold the six-bedroom home in November for $4,525,000, according to Traded Boston.

Earlier this year, Brogdon received the John Havlicek Trophy after being named 2022–23 Kia NBA Sixth Man of the Year.

The NBA veteran purchased the newly built home just last year for $4.4 million. Located about 25 minutes west of Boston, the 7,323-square-foot residence is tucked away in the Cliff Estates neighborhood and features an open floor plan.

The two-level residence boasts wide-plank light wood floors and high ceilings throughout.

The all-white interior features custom millwork, coffered ceilings, elegant wainscoting, and oversized windows and French doors.

The kitchen has handcrafted white and natural wood cabinetry, Thermador appliances, a walk-in pantry, and an oversized island with seating.

The spacious home stays cozy with fireplaces in the living room, family room, home office, and primary suite.

Five en suite bedrooms, including the primary, can be found upstairs. A sixth bedroom is on the lower level.

The bright primary suite also has walk-in closets and a spa bathroom with wood vanities and a soaking tub.

The finished lower level has plenty of space for entertaining and lounging. There is a playroom with a kitchenette, a media room, and a full bathroom. Naturally, Brogdon outfitted the home with a gym with rubber flooring and glass walls.

The mudroom is equipped with storage cubbies and radiant heat. It opens to the three-car garage with a charging station.

Out back, a lovely bluestone patio overlooks a yard with mature plantings.

Brogdon, 31, made his NBA debut with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2016 and won the Rookie of the Year award. Now in his eighth season in the league, he’s providing veteran leadership on the young Trail Blazers squad.
