Backers of the Society Atlanta mixed-use tower in Midtown recently celebrated a major milestone in the project’s construction with the topping off of the building’s 31st floor.

National developer PMG is leading the project, which will deliver 460 rental apartments, over 87,000 square feet of office space and 14,500 square feet of ground-level retail to 811 Peachtree St. NE. The residences will be a mix of traditional units and “rent-by-bedroom” co-living options.

The tower is among the first to be developed under PMG’s new Society Living multifamily brand. The project is backed by Canada-based private equity firm Greybrook. Juneau Construction Company is the general contractor, and Cooper Carry is the architect.

“We are proud to be celebrating the accomplishment of Society Atlanta’s topping off on schedule and within budget,” Juneau Vice President of Operations Walker Mills said in a press release. “Our project team and subcontractors have worked diligently to reach this construction milestone, and we look forward to bringing these new apartment, office and retail options to life for Midtown Atlanta.”

Society Atlanta will offer two full floors of class-A office space with roughly 45,000 square feet each, represented by Cushman & Wakefield, and ground floor retail spaces from 736 to 14,500 square feet, represented by Bridger Properties.

Amenities include a sky pool deck, co-working lab, gym and fitness studio, entertainment lounges, yoga lawn, integrated retail space and daily event programming.
