Live it up, Rockefeller style: A full-floor apartment on Fifth Avenue with Central Park views is available for the first time in 60 years.

The longtime home of former Vice President Nelson Aldrich Rockefeller—which means it’s still in the hands of the Rockefeller family—could be yours for $11.5 million.

The apartment takes over the entire 15th floor and features 75 feet of Central Park views.

Purchased at the time of its construction in 1963 by Rockefeller, the apartment is currently owned by one of Rockefeller’s sons, Nelson Rockefeller Jr., according to Mansion Global.

As it happened, when Rockefeller bought the apartment, it was going up next to another building where he owned a unit. He made the unusual decision to connect the two apartments in adjoining buildings by breaking through the new building’s south wall and installing a flight of shallow stairs between them.

After his death in 1979, the apartments were separated. Now the 15th-floor apartment is being offered for the first time since its original sale.

The 3,990-square-foot apartment has four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, and includes a 295-square-foot, marble-clad terrace that overlooks the park. The interiors are filled with light.

The apartment includes a private elevator, spacious gallery, and original parquet flooring. A wood-paneled office could also work as a media room. And the great open space features rounded corners and walls of glass with views of the terrace and park.

Often referred to as the “Rockefeller building,” the boutique co-op includes 30 homes, full-time door attendants, elevator attendants, a bell captain, and a live-in resident manager. The building offers a laundry facility and common storage.

The grandson of billionaire John D. Rockefeller, Nelson Rockefeller served as the 41st vice president, from 1974 to 1977. Before that, he served as the 49th governor of New York from 1959 to 1973. He died in 1979 at the age of 70.
