If you have to relocate for work, chances are you’ll also have to sell your beloved home.

This is exactly what’s happened to NFL legend Deion Sanders. The former star defensive back is now better known as “Coach Prime”—and he’s on the move.

Following his departure as head coach of Jackson State University’s football team in favor of a far more lucrative coaching role at the University of Colorado, Sanders is selling his spread in Canton, MS.

Available for $1.5 million, this lovely 5,300-square-foot farmhouse has five bedrooms and 4.5 baths. It sits on 42 acres, which include a 4-acre lake and a two-bedroom barn equipped with four horse stalls.

Massive windows, beamed ceilings, and built-in cabinets decorate the main living space. A luxe kitchen features a five-burner stove, double ovens, and attractive brick pavers on the floor.

The main bedroom suite is highlighted by a luxe bath with a jetted tub, ideal for relaxing after a hard day at the office. Other high-end amenities include a game room with a bar, screened porch, home office, and outdoor pool complex with a kitchen and space for entertaining.

Out back, the two-bedroom barn can house both human and equine guests. The private lake on the property might have been a lure for Sanders, a known angler.

Sanders won two Super Bowls with two different teams (the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys) and was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2011. After three seasons coaching at Jackson State with great success, he was lured to Boulder, CO, with a five-year, $29.5 million contract to take over the beleaguered Buffaloes squad.
