You know what they say: What happens in Vegas eventually finds its way to Palm Springs, CA. Err, close enough, right?

Listed for $11.8 million, this elaborate estate pays homage to Sin City’s old-school luxury—specifically the famed Caesars Palace hotel and casino.

The owners leaned into the 8,000-square-foot property’s roots, searching out 1970s furniture in a nod to its glamorous past while bringing the home into the modern age.

“They actually went to Caesars Palace and got photographs of the outside ironwork and had it duplicated,” says Louise Hampton, a listing agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties. “There are touches of Caesars Palace everywhere in this house.”

All of these details can be yours, since the list price includes all furnishings.

“The intention was to transfer this house as a brand-new house, and the only appliance in the property that’s been used is the refrigerator,” Hampton explains.

Jerry Zarowitz, aka “the boss” at Caesars Palace in the 1970s, had the architecture firm Buff & Hensman create the home in 1972 to resemble the resort.

In 2016, the current owners bought the five-bedroom place for $3,499,000 and began a five-year renovation that took the home down to the studs and added many modern conveniences.

Their intention was to restore it to its ’70s splendor, rebuilding everything while preserving its historic integrity, Hampton says.

The floor plan got some user-friendly upgrades, including an expansion of the primary suite to span the home’s full width.

Another improvement is the wine wall, which is now a room divider that allows light to flow between the dining room and the kitchen.

“Before, there were just walls and tiny rooms,” Hampton says. “It’s just really an amazing transformation, and a lot of thought and effort went into designing the house to make it livable today.”

The original fountains near the angular pool were not salvageable, so the owners found the company that made them and ordered new versions.

A two-bedroom guesthouse with a full kitchen, a putting green, and a mural of Caesars Palace itself are all additions.

The house has seen plenty of action over the years. According to the listing, the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and two U.S. presidents have all stayed there.

Sinatra’s “favorite room in the house was the guest bedroom on the far northwest corner of the house,” Hampton says. “Back in the day, that was the coolest room because of the way the air conditioning worked.”

And in an area flush with celebrity presence, the property’s location on a gated street offers plenty of privacy.

“You don’t get tour buses, which are so common in Palm Springs where everybody’s stopping and taking photographs of your house,” she says.
