Those Washington Commanders sure do like to stick together, even choosing the same homes to buy.

Indeed, the DC-based NFL team has snagged star quarterback Carson Wentz this season.

After that move, the 29-year-old snapped up a pretty sweet crib in the exclusive enclave known as Creighton Farms for a cool $3,675,000 in July.

As for the home’s previous owner? Why, it was none other than the former coach of the Commanders, Jay Gruden.

Living large in Leesburg

Located in Leesburg, VA, about 40 miles northwest of Washington, DC, the five-bedroom, 5.5-bath luxe home on a 3-acre lot is part of a gated club with an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course.

Wentz, who’s on track to make $28 million this year, is setting up residence here with his wife and two children, after spending just a single season with the Indianapolis Colts in 2021.

Elegant and timeless, the mansion measures 7,280 square feet, and features marble and hardwood floors, sculptural arches, two home offices, a formal dining room, and a chef’s kitchen with two dishwashers and two fridges for late-night snacking and pre-game fueling.

The primary bedroom has deluxe closets with built-in shelving, a sitting room with a fireplace, and French doors that lead to a pretty terrace at the home’s rear. But the primary bath is the real star, complete with a steam shower and a soaking tub for some relaxing, post-game recovery.

The lower level offers a rec room, game room, gym, wet bar, and a 300-bottle wine cellar with a tasting room.

Ready for the outside? More French doors along the house open to the terrace, where Wentz can enjoy a pool and spa. Or he can entertain under the covered pavilion that’s outfitted with granite counters, a wet bar, beverage fridges, and a stone fireplace.

While Wentz might be too busy on the gridiron to get much golf in, he can avail himself of other sports on tap at the members-only club with a smaller time commitment, such as practicing his swing in the heated golf bays, playing on the multiple tennis courts, or working out at the fitness center.
