Real estate deals

Despite having a full schedule, the A-list actor has still found time to tinker with his real estate holdings.

In November, the star completed a couple of deals in the coastal enclave of Malibu. First, he let go of his longtime beach retreat for $10.3 million; he had listed it for $10 million.

Given that he purchased the place in 1998 for $1,600,010, he came out well ahead.

In an off-market deal, the A-list actor then snagged a different, $13.75 million oceanfront property.

Back in L.A., the “Don’t Look Up” star picked up a Spanish-style compound from “Modern Family” star Jesse Tyler Ferguson for $7.1 million last year.

Then, last summer, the 47-year-old tossed another home onto the market for $5.75 million. He had purchased that Los Feliz estate from Moby in 2018, for just under $5 million.

Known as Red Oak Manor, the restored residence was finally sold in February 2022 for $4.9 million, which means DiCaprio essentially broke even on his investment.
