Los Angeles Dodgers star Chris Taylor has put down some SoCal roots.
In May, the versatile infielder-outfielder scooped up a brand-new build in Manhattan Beach for $6 million.
Previously, the man known as CT3 rented a penthouse a few blocks away for $8,500 a month. It had two bedrooms and a deck with ocean views.
Now, Taylor gets to share a spacious new home with his fiancee, Mary Keller. The All-Star proposed to his girlfriend in Hawaii on New Year’s Eve.
“Can’t wait to start our life together,” the 31-year-old gushed on Instagram.
The locale of their love nest is about a 40-minute drive to Dodger Stadium.
The coastal farmhouse spans 4,442 square feet and has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The main bedroom is upstairs, and it comes with a fireplace and a balcony overlooking the backyard. There’s an additional bedroom suite with a separate entrance, perfect for a family member or long-term guest.
The large living room has a fireplace and French doors that open to the front courtyard.
The chef’s kitchen features high-end appliances and adjoins a family room with a fireplace. Access to the backyard is a breeze through retractable doors.
The finished basement features a bedroom and bath, a high ceiling, and a wet bar—an ideal spot for the baseball player to enjoy some suds with his buds.
Outside, there’s a patio with a kitchen, seating area, and fireplace.
Over the garage, there’s a flexible space for a library or office.
Other high-end details include French white oak flooring, smart home technology, and wiring for sound and security.
Taylor, a Virginia Beach native, re-upped with the Dodgers on a four-year, $60 million contract.
He was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the fifth round of the MLB draft in 2012 and made his big-league debut in 2014. Traded to the Dodgers in 2016, the All-Star was a key member of the team that won the 2020 World Series.
