I am an IT Professional by trade. Most recently, I worked as a systems engineer at one of the largest defense contractors in the world!
Boynton Beach, Fla. After I finished high school and community college, in 2012, I moved to Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida. I lived there until 2018, when I moved to Atlanta!
Oh man, my plans jumped around quite a bit. My childhood dream job was to be a meteorologist. There was just something about the weather that fascinated me. Then toward my later years of high school, I got interested in real estate, but the 2008 recession steered me away from that. Tech had always been a huge passion of mine, so I ended up following that path.
I spend a lot of time reading and watching documentaries on random topics. I love history. I also still try to squeeze in gaming whenever I can. Not so much now days though!
Warren Buffett. Much of my investing philosophy comes from what I have learned studying him.
The Cumberland District in Cobb! Although it is extremely popular, I’ve still met tons of people who’ve never even realized The Battery has tons of shops and restaurants that you can frequent. In addition to that, you have Main Event, Cobb Galleria Centre and so much more!
Working with first-time home buyers. For many, they are the first in their family to even own a home. The feeling I get when I see the smiles on their faces is like nothing else.
It sounds cliché, but communication is something that sets me apart from other agents. I cannot begin to tell you the amount of referrals I’ve received from friends who knew someone working with another agent, but for whatever reason, the agent just stopped responding! Now, I won’t lie and say I respond to every text, call or e-mail as I get them. However, I do my best to follow up with any and everybody I may have missed as soon as I can!
Trying to keep my buyer clients encouraged in this market. I always warn them up front hat it is an extremely competitive market. Many of them already understand that coming in. However, when you lose an offer or two, it still hurts quite a bit, even after having tried to curb expectations.
FOLLOW UP. FOLLOW UP. FOLLOW UP!!! Again, communication is KEY in this industry. Relationships matter! Build them!
I just recently caught up on Season 2 of Power: Ghost. My favorite show, Billions, also just started it’s newest season. As for reading, I haven’t been reading any books in particular. Most of my time spent is reading articles on economics and investing. I am trying to make sure that I am making the right investments so I can stay ahead of any market changes that might occur this year.
Although they are no longer in business, Bytes Restaurant in Midtown was among my favorites. I stumbled upon them one day, and I fell in love. The pizza was amazing. The vibe was unmatched. I told everyone I knew about them! Unfortunately, they decided to pursue other ventures in 2019. But if they are reading this, this is my plea for them to come back!
The King & Queen buildings in Sandy Springs are by far my favorite buildings in the Metro area. Especially when they are lit up at night!
I was preparing to head down into the basement of a home. As I opened the door, a flock of birds immediately rushed past me into the main part of the home. It felt like a scene out of a horror movie.
My age. For whatever reason, people are shocked anytime I tell them. Most of the compliments I get are about how young I look and the wealth of knowledge I have.
Although I have never been, I would have to say Bora Bora. I heard they have deep sea air conditioning in several places on the island. That alone to me is worth the 20+ hour flight or whatever it is. By the way, did I mention I hate flying??
Sticking to the metro Atlanta area, I would have to say Alpharetta. From the architecture to the scenic views of Lake Windward and all the way back to Avalon. There is just so much to see and do while still maintaining a family friendly feeling!
Be prepared to WORK HARD.
Homesnap.
