Women-owned construction firm expands into Buckhead and other points north

Custom builder and remodeler Level Craft Construction has expanded northward from the intown neighborhoods where it has historically operated, with the addition of Buckhead, Brookhaven and Ansley Park to its service area.

The expansion greatly increases the footprint of the Atlanta firm, which is owned by Debbie Hollonbeck and Virginia Van Lear. Since it was founded in 1996, Level Craft has focused on Avondale Estates, Decatur, Druid Hills, Morningside, Midtown, Oakhurst, East Lake, Candler Park, Edgewood and Virginia Highland, according to a press release.

“In addition to our renovation and revitalization services, we also have extensive experience in infill construction, which is what many of Buckhead, Brookhaven and Ansley Park’s discerning property owners want to do,” Hollonbeck said. “With virtually no empty land available, many clients choose to buy the worst home on the best street in their neighborhood and start from scratch. We are a fantastic match for those homeowners and enjoy working with them to design and build the home of their dreams.”

Level Craft is among the top 5 remodeling companies in Atlanta, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Book of Lists. The firm also performs commercial work, including demolition, building development and infrastructure.

“We are excited to expand our service area to include some of Atlanta’s most desirable neighborhoods,” Van Lear said. “There is an abundance of homeowners searching for the right contractor to help them renovate their historic home, and we are proud to now be a part of that conversation.”
