A San Diego developer has proposed a massive mixed-use project on the 51.88-acre site of the Hewlett-Packard Enterprise corporate office at the intersection of Windward Parkway and Westside Parkway in Alpharetta.

According to the rezoning application, the development would be called Continuum Alpharetta and add 82 for-sale condominiums, 488 apartments, a 218-room boutique hotel, 77,600 square feet of commercial and retail space and 1,028,500 square feet of office space. The existing office buildings comprising 517,399 square feet of space would be renovated.

The community would also include a village green and “significant” additional greenspace with nature trails.

“Continuum is boldly visioning North Fulton’s response to how work works in an ever-changing climate,” the devloper, Southwest Value Partners, said on the project’s website. “First-to-market in-town vibes at the corner of Windward Parkway and GA-400, Continuum is well positioned as the exclusive HQ for an established company seeking the unique formula of dynamic design, unmatched brand visibility and preferred commutes to GA-400, Avalon and home.”

According the application, the new development would transform the underutilized property from “an auto-focused, hidden corporate campus to a vibrant community with significant pedestrian connectivity and open space.”

Building heights would include two-story retail buildings, three-story condos, seven- or eight-story apartments, eight-story offices and a 12-story hotel, according to the application.
