The rapper Kid Cudi is now mixing it up in a new crib in Calabasas, CA, Dirt reported. The musician picked up the massive mansion in the celebrity enclave for $7.7 million.

The property came onto the market in March for the higher price of $8.3 million, so Cudi came away with a discount.

The two-time Grammy winner, whose given name is Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, will have neighbors like Drake, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett, and his frequent collaborator Kanye West. It is possible that after West’s split from Kim Kardashian, Kanye may be spending more time in Wyoming, of course.

Whether West remains his neighbor or not, Cudi is set to move into a lot of house.

Built in 2001, the newly remodeled estate sits atop a hill, behind double gates. With six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and 9,000 square feet, the spacious spread on 11.5 acres includes a home theater, gym with bathroom, and temperature-controlled wine room.

The two-story entrance opens with a double staircase, a living room with bar, a separate dining room, and an updated chef’s kitchen with dual islands, breakfast nook, and Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances. Just adjacent, a family room also includes access outside.

Upstairs, you’ll find five en suite bedrooms, all with newly remodeled bathrooms, plus a loft space for a work station or game room. A master suite comes with a private balcony, sitting room, dual walk-in closets, and a bathroom with separate shower and soaking tub, plus dual vanities.

The grounds feature a pool that seems designed for parties, with a spa, grotto, slide, dolphin fountains, and waterfalls. If sports are your thing, find a putting green and sport court. The listing also notes that there’s a live turtle pond.

The expansive acreage also includes a vineyard. Perhaps the multitalented Kid Cudi will also become a winemaker, with a Kid Vino label.

Other outdoor entertainments options include two covered patios with an outdoor fireplace and a Tiki-style grass hut with a built-in grill center and seating.Then there’s a fire pit with bench seating, to take in views of city lights and mountaintops.

The singer of “Day ‘n’ Nite” has sold 22 million albums to date. In 2020, his song “The Scotts,” with the rapper Travis Scott, topped the Billboard Hot 100. In addition to his music, the star has ventured into acting in such movies as “Crisis,” and “Bill and Ted Face the Music.” He can also be seen in the HBO series “We Are Who We Are.”
