The infamous Los Angeles home where Charles Manson‘s followers viciously slaughtered a grocery store owner and his wife during a grisly murder spree was finally sold this month—at a discount.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home in the city’s Los Feliz neighborhood was sold for $1,875,000, according to TMZ. The final sale price represents a 15% discount from the $2.2 million being asked for the Spanish-style home when it hit the market in October.

This is the second time the modestly sized 1,655-square-foot home, with an in-ground pool and enviable views of the city, has changed hands in as many years.

Celebrity paranormal investigator Zak Bagans purchased the home, which had been recently renovated, for $1.89 million in 2019 for a film production. But his project never saw the light of day.

Charles Manson’s followers slayed a couple in this home in 1969.

As a result, he put the property back up for sale last fall. The listing for the single-story house touted its “infamous history.” In January, Bagans, the star of the Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures” show, slashed the price to $2 million. Five months later, a deal was sealed. The buyer is unknown.

Leno and Rosemary LaBianca were stabbed more than 50 times in the house on Aug. 10, 1969, by Manson’s followers. Leno’s body was eviscerated with his blood smeared all over the walls. A misspelled “Healter Skelter,” referencing the Beatles song “Helter Skelter,” was scrawled in the victims’ blood on the refrigerator.

This murder house was sold at a discount.

They were murdered just two days after the cult killed actress Sharon Tate and four others. Tate, who was pregnant, and her friends were similarly stabbed in the home Tate was renting with her husband, the famed director Roman Polanski, in Beverly Hills.

Built in 1922, the Los Feliz home shows no traces of its infamous past. It features an open floor plan with a fireplace, Italian tile floors, and a dining room, which opens to a patio overlooking the pool. It’s set on nearly three-quarters of an acre on a hilltop in a gated community boasting views of downtown Los Angeles, Griffith Park, and the San Gabriel Mountains.

The home offers “killer” views.
