Bret Michaels, the frontman for Poison and a reality TV regular, is rocking a sale of his Scottsdale, AZ, mansion. The property has found a buyer and is currently in contingent sale status. It hit the market last November for $3,299,000—and the price never budged.

The musician purchased the place in 2006 for $2.2 million. The home—a showcase of the rock star’s intriguing tastes—was featured on a 2008 episode of “MTV Cribs.”

The sprawling spread on 5 acres is described in the listing as a “playground,” and is tricked out with “resort-like features” including sand volleyball, a basketball court, a large pool with a waterfall and slide, and a private dirt-bike trail. For families with young children or grandchildren, the yard includes a play structure and trampoline.

The interior offers just as many amenities, and includes a main house and a guesthouse, for a combined 7,400 square feet of living space, with five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.

As the listing notes, the home has “rooms to retire and rooms to rock.”

The property is offered furnished, making move-in a breeze.

You can get catch a glimpse of life à la Michaels on his social media. The singer recently posted a photo from his backyard.

He’s also posted videos from his office, like this one, offering his support to victims of the winter storm in Texas.

You enter into the “Cabo-style” resort home via an arched doorway. Built in 1994, the home features tile and hardwood flooring, exposed beam ceilings, and a living room decorated with guitars and a sign that reads, “It’s Only Rock and Roll, Baby.”

That same sentiment has been spotted in another of Michaels’ homes, in Calabasas, CA. Perhaps it’s his trademark design or a prized possession.

A formal dining room includes a built-in sideboard. The kitchen features a large island, multiple ovens, and a walk-in pantry.

The office includes built-in bookshelves, and currently displays the owner’s music industry memorabilia, along with more guitars, which grace many of the rooms in the house.

A family room includes built-ins and a fireplace, and access outside. Meanwhile, the master bedroom comes with a sitting area, sliding glass doors, and a bathroom with double sinks and a separate tub and shower.

Other perks include a gym, and outdoor space with room for a pool table and a lounge area. Lush landscaping and fountains surround the patio and pool. The gated property also includes a four-car garage.

Michaels’ metal band, Poison, whose heyday was the mid-’80s to mid-’90s, sold well over 45 million records worldwide and 15 million records in the United States alone.

More recently, the musician has become a reality TV star, known for shows such as “Rock of Love” and “Celebrity Apprentice 3.” He also competed as the Banana on the third season of “The Masked Singer.” He finished in seventh place.

Michaels, 57, has experience rockin’ in the real estate arena. In the past, he’s developed and sold upscale homes in California communities both in Calabasas and Westlake Village.

Apparently, he’s not leaving the desert and is on to his next project in Scottsdale, Mansion Global reports.

Bob Nathan with Engel & Voelkers Scottsdale holds the listing.
